Mr Wesley Chee
Founder / Owner
Mr Wesley Chee is the founder and owner of HeartlandHealth. He started his career as a Sports Physiotherapist in the public sector and has vast experience working alongside medical practitioners throughout his career. In 2013, he founded a physiotherapy and podiatry clinic which grew rapidly to become one of the biggest allied health clinic chain in Singapore. Mr Chee is a highly experienced healthcare professional and is instrumental in providing strategic direction and leadership for the organisation.
He is responsible in overseeing all aspects of HeartlandHealth business and manages the group on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, he also continues in clinical practice as the founder, clinical leader and senior principal sports physiotherapist of Physio & Sole Clinic on top of his busy schedule.
Dr Benjamin Ng
Dr Benjamin Ng is a Resident Physician with HeartlandHealth. He is a specialist in Occupational and Aviation Medicine. He has centred his practice primarily in general practice because of a desire to care for patients in the heartland with almost 40 years’ clinical experience. He incorporates the principles of Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine when communicating with patients and is a licensed acupuncturist.
Dr Ng is Visiting Consultant for Aviation Medicine with Changi General Hospital, Licensing Medical Assessor and member of the Civil Aviation Medical Board of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, and Designated Aviation Medical Examiner for Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Agency. He conducts medical examinations for workers as a Designated Workplace Doctor. Dr Ng is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and an Honorary Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Malaysia.
Dr Ng was Singapore’s Chief Air Force Medical Officer with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. After completing his service, he joined Raffles Medical Group and then Tan Tock Seng Hospital as Director of Clinical Standards and Improvement, responsible for the hospital's clinical quality improvement programmes, patient safety, risk management and patient relations service.
