What is Baby Bonus / CDA?
The Baby Bonus Scheme is a government initiative to help families manage the costs of raising a child. Families are supported through the Child Development Account (CDA), a special savings account that receives government co-matching on the money parents deposit, up to a set cap. Funds in the CDA can be used for approved child-related expenses such as healthcare, childcare, and education.
Eligibility
The Child Development Account (CDA) is available for all Singapore citizen children born on or after 24 March 2016, to a lawfully married couple.
A CDA is automatically opened when your child successfully joins the Baby Bonus Scheme.
